28. 4/10/26. The Public Works Supervisor and I just completed the semi-final inspection of the Culvert Replacement Project on Munger Lane and I'm pleased to announce that as of 12N today, Friday April 10th, it is nearly complete (minor cosmetic work remains) and that Munger Lane is open to traffic. Well done to SLR Engineering and Dayton Construction Company for an excellent job. Ray

29. 4/23/26. Reminder: The Region 14 budget referendum will be held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026, with voting in Bethlehem taking place at Town Hall Conference Room, 36 Main Street, South between the hours of 6:00AM and 8:00PM. Purpose: To consider the budget submitted by the Board of Education for Regional School District #14 for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 in the amount of $44,757,503. Bethlehem's portion of this is $10,974,503 or an increase of 6.98% over FY 2025-2026. Ray

30. 4/24/26. Reminder: The electors and citizens of the Town of Bethlehem are notified and warned that a Public Hearing on the Proposed Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget will be held at 7:30 PM at Memorial Hall, 10 Veterans Way, Bethlehem, CT, on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Ray

31. 5/18/26. Please join us this evening at 7:00PM in Memorial Hall for the 6th in our 7-part speaker series: How our Democracy Works. Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas will be speaking  about voting rights and the voting process. Ray

32. 5/21/26. Bethlehem's Memorial Day commemoration is scheduled for this coming Monday May 26th. The parade will form at Nick's parking lot and step off at 1:00PM, proceed north on Main Street and end at the Green. The ceremonies are immediately following on the Green (approximately 1:30PM). As always, this event is planned, organized and executed by Bethlehem American Legion Post 146. In the event of rain, the decision to cancel the parade will be made by 8:00AM and the ceremonies will be in Memorial Hall at 1:00PM. Please join us. Ray 

33. 5/26/26. Good Morning! The parade is a GO today at 1:00PM! Because the Green is very wet and soggy the ceremonies will take place in memorial Hall immediately following the parade. Hope to see everyone there. Ray
