Senior Commission

The Bethlehem Senior Commission is composed of 7 members.  There are 5 regular members and 2 alternates.  Ex-officio members are Bethlehem’s Municipal Agent for Elderly Persons and the First Selectman.

The Commission studies the conditions and needs in our community as they are related to housing, economics, employment, health, and recreational matters.  They review the services provided and make recommendations to the Board of Selectmen, the Municipal Agent and to the Town.  The Commission has the authority to apply for available state, federal and private grants to support our purpose.   

 

Meetings are the third Tuesday of the month in the Leever Room at 10:00.  All are welcome, bring ideas and suggestions.
